Mud

Tate had a mishap and fell and got mud on his nose.  We had a play date this morning and Tate had loads of fun!

No Nap

Tate and I had a busy morning.  We went to the park where Tate was particularly interested in playing with the gravel.  He also really liked sitting on the picnic tables and dangling his legs off of them.  We also got some groceries.  Tate lost it when we were checking out so I pulled him out of the cart and was holding him while putting my things on the conveyor. The lady behind me must have felt sorry for me so she helped me unload my cart. Thank you complete stranger!  Tate fell asleep when we were 8 miles from home.  He would not take a real nap the rest of the day.  He was in overtired overdrive for a while and was running around like a maniac!  He was in bed by 7:20!  He surprised us and woke up at 6:50 this morning, which was a treat compared to the 5:30-6:00 that he normally wakes up.

Ribbit

Here is a sneak peek at Tate in his Halloween costume .  He keeps tryIng to do somersaults but never makes it past putting his head on the floor.  I ran to town for some lab work while Brett stayed home with Tate.  When I checked in there was a perpetual calendar and today's message was:  A journey of 1000 miles begins with the first step.  Let our journey begin!

Rainy Day

It rained this morning so we could not go outside like normal and Tate was not happy about it.  We did go outside later though and Tate had fun in the puddles.  He got a fat lip today when he fell and hit his mouth on the coffee table.

Sunday

I love Sundays!  We went to church, played at the park, chased our kittens, ate French toast, and snuggled.

It's Here

I have been dreading the cool weather and it has arrived.  I actually like fall weather but do not like messing with jackets or knowing that winter is approaching.

Here We Go

I had my appointment with the reproductive specialist today.  It was a 2 hour drive then we had to wait 1.5 hours to see the doctor.  When I got pregnant with Tate, I had surgery to remove an endometrioma and that was all it took.  The dr. said today that only 1 in 14 surgeries result in a pregnancy so I was pretty lucky.  I had an ultrasound today and everything looked clear.  I have significant endometriosis that prevents me from ovulating.  Surgery is not the best option at this point since the endometriosis has grown into my colon and puts me at higher risk of complications.  We have a plan of action in place and hopefully it works!  We had lunch with my brother and sister-in-law and got to see her baby bump!!  My mom took the day off to help out with Tate. He was very good. He ate, played, and napped well. He had a big kiss for me when we picked him up.
