Doll

Tate was digging through my old toys and was really enjoying a doll. He would pretend she was crying and give her a bottle, feed her with a spoon, or cover her up. At one point I heard, "I went poopy. It is okay baby. It is okay."  Later, Tate would climb into Brett's bed and say goodnight and cover himself up and pretend to snore. Then he would say "I'm awake, good morning!" He got bit at daycare this morning. 

Viola

Here is a picture of my Grandma Viola's family. She was my dad's mother.  I have always loved to look at photos of her when she was younger get because I think she was just beautiful. She is on the bottom right. 

My grandpa was 10 years older than my grandma. I remember someone always saying that my grandpa had to wait for her to grow up before he could marry her.

 

Rain

It rained another couple inches so harvest is delayed again. Brett hung up a cabinet in the bathroom for me. He is such a good husband and dad!!

Talker

Oh and he was giving great hugs and kisses and replaced them with licks today. I lick you!

Laugh

I walked into my mom and dad's house to pick up Tate after my eye exam and all I heard was laughing. Apparently Tate loved a video where this dog gives the cats farting powder.  

We loved our visit from Aunt Amy! Tate is not sleeping much again so I have been slacking on pictures. My phone is full and I haven't had time to clear it off. 

Walmart

Tate was screaming at Walmartcwhile we were checking out because he saw the play zone and wanted to go play. People were staring and talking about me. Some even had the nerve to offer advice or try to calm Tate down. I knew he would be fine just as soon as we got to the car. He fell asleep on the way home and then slept in his bed for 3 more hours after that.

Teething

Tate was tired after a long night last night.  No potty accidents for the naked boy today. He likes privacy while he does his business and if you check on him he whispers good bye.  He has started to take showers with Brett and he thinks they are tons of fun. 

Helper

Tate helped me in the yard today.  We also rode with grandpa to change the electric fence battery and shuffle vehicles.  He got to play with his buddy last night.  

We have quite an interesting neighbor. He has a horse that he apparently lets just roam around. It was in the road so my uncle stopped to move it and the horse kicked his pickup, leaving 2 nice hoof prints.

Silly

We had a play date at our house this morning and 3 of Tate's friends came to play. He is just a silly little guy!  The mosquitoes were so bad we had to go play at grandma's instead. Yuck!!

Dinosaur Ride

Tate loves his big dinosaur and almost always sits on it when we read books. Tonight he was riding it. We had a fun day. Tate tried his hardest to get to to take him somewhere.

Trailer

Look who is big enough to get onto the trailer with no help. 

Tate ran around naked a lot today so we could frequently sit on the potty. He only had one accident and went potty in the potty chair all day.  After his nap he didn't want me to take off his diaper so I took that as a sign that he needed a break from potty training. We went to our friends' house for dinner so it worked better to have on diapers anyway.  The two boys played together and even gave out kisses!

Appointment

Tate saw his developmental pediatrician today. We had a 2 hour drive to get to our 8:45 appointment. Then we had to sit in an exam room for an hour waiting on the doctor. She said Tate is all caught up developmentally and doing most things around the 30 month level. There were only a few minor concerns and we are just supposed to keep an eye on them. We go back in a year. I am extremely happy Tate is doing so much better. After, we ran to Target then went to McDonald's. There were a bunch if kids running around the play place. Tate had a blast. Finally, we headed to the zoo. Tate enjoyed seeing all the animals and especially loved the turtles. We are all worn out from today!

Pool

Daycare this morning for Tate. Acupuncture and groceries for me. 

Nap for Tate this afternoon while I prepped freezer/crockpot meals. 

Pool and park play date. We had a blast!!  Tate loved the pool this time. No pics. :(

Sweet Boy

We had fun today. I caught Tate reading in the cutest position. We splashed around in the puddles outside. We also found a frog and Tate was teasing it. Then I got a lot of ribbits from Tate and "I be frog."  I thinned out my carrots and gave a few to Tate. He kept pretending to eat them and saying they were yummy, I think in hopes to convince Duke to eat them. Duke had carrots in his face a lot. 

Boots

Tate stay with my mom and dad today so Brett and I could go to the fertility doctor. We are going to continue with the same treatment plan but higher doses of medication. If it doesn't work soon I will have surgery again to clean up my endometriosis. We also loaded up at Sam's Club. Tate thinks wearing our shoes is funny!
