Exersaucer

The exersaucer might just be one of the best baby items ever invented! Without it I would not get anything done around the house. Tate does not like to play alone but this buys me a little time as long as it is in the same room as me.

Mums

It only took 3 years but I finally got to see my mums bloom. We had hail storms two years in a row that destroyed the plants before fall.

Bargain Queen

I have been keeping an eye out for bargains lately for used toys and recently hit the jackpot! On a side note I was NEVER going to own a walker because they are dangerous but I needed something to keep Tate occupied in the basement when I use the elliptical. Surely he can't get in too much trouble if we are in the same room?

A Mother's Love

My college roommate recently had her first child and he weighed in at 1 lb. 9 oz. My heart hurts so badly for her and her baby. I CANNOT imagine how it must feel to be in her shoes. I know what a joy it was welcoming my own son into this world. That moment I first heard him cry and then laid eyes on him is forever etched into my brain! Right at that second my whole life changed. So did my roommate's only now hers is filled with hospitals and doctors. I can't imagine spending each day looking at such a tiny body as it struggles and fights to stay alive. Many times when Tate smiles or coos my thoughts go to my friend, wondering if she will get the same experiences. It is impossible to explain the feeling that comes with being a mother. I feel overwhelmingly in love with my chubby boy! We don't have to look far to realize how blessed we truly are.
