Audrey

Poor Audrey just screams all the time. She cries at the end if every bottle and wakes up screaming from every nap. She wouldn't stay asleep for more than 20 minutes all day. My back hurts from walking around and bouncing her. Ellie slept all through the night last night. She took a four hour nap this afternoon. Audrey was inconsolable for a few of those hours or else I would have got Ellie up sooner. 

Fussy

Audrey has been super fussy and gassy. She screamed for two solid hours last night. I started the day getting puked on by Ellie and finished it with super fussy girls. I was feeding the girls after we came in from outside. Tate was supposed to be washing his hands but I could hear him running a lot of water and splashing a lot of water on the floor. He managed to get the drain plug down and told me he was taking his bath in the tiny tub.

Today we ran to the elementary school and dropped off our Box Tops. The girls are starting to wear 3m clothes and size 1 diapers. 

Wedding

Amy and Austin tied the knot!  The kids all did pretty well in the car for the four hour road trip. It was frustrating at times because Tate thought he had to potty so we would stop but he wouldn't go. The girls would wake up with each stop. Tate was a grouchy mess at the wedding and had to leave. He finally came around at supper and had fun with Will and Aunt Becca's bouquet. We got two hotel rooms. Audrey got up at 2 and 6 and Ellie got up at 4 so they did pretty good!  Tate slept all night once he finally fell asleep. 

Museum

Our town had a big all-school reunion this weekend.  We went in to see the new museum they put in the old grade school. It was fantastic!  It used up five classrooms and the hall. My mom's old classroom now is home to some of my grandpa's war stuff!  My dear old friend met me there and said hi!  It made my day!!  Tate did pretty well leaving stuff alone. His favorite part was running around the gym. Later we went and played with Chris, Anne and Owen. Tate wanted to teach Owen how to dance.

Tate turned 3 yesterday!!  I can't believe how quickly he is growing up. He had his last day of school yesterday too. Today he had a well check and is doing great. He didn't sleep well last night so he was extra ornery at the doctor. Audrey went with us to get checked.  They told us to give her more medicine and give it a week to work. Grandma kept Ellie. 

Baptism/Birthday

Today we baptized the girls and celebrated Tate's 3rd birthday. It was a great day!

Kids

Dentist

Tate had a dental check up today. He did a great job and even let them use the scaler on his teeth. They are working up to full cleanings. I left Audrey with my mom and took Ellie with us. Since Tate did well at his appointment I took him to the car wash and got him a happy meal. 

Mother's Day

Sweet

The girls are looking older each day. We got a visit from my cousin Corly today. The girls slept and Tate showed off. He didn't do so well at church this evening. Right before bed Tate said that Brett was a super hero. He said that I was one too and that we had super babies. 

Success

The girls and I took Tate to daycare and then went to Walmart. Audrey puked all over herself and the carseat right before we left so I almost decided not to get groceries. When we got there I put Ellie in my new, fancy baby carrier and left Audrey in her car seat. I only got stopped a few times. I had my cart piled full and went to check out and there were only a few registers open. The manager came up to me and said they would open up a register for me!!  He has a set of boy/girl twins that are 19!  He had to check out the girls and even offered to have someone carry out my stuff. 

For some reason Tate was having a rough day and being naughty. He said he didn't want his baby sisters and wanted me to put them away. 

Sisters

Like Daddy

Tate was working on his mower just like daddy!  I am struggling to get the girls to take decent naps without being held. It seems someone is always crying. Tate and I baked a cake together and it literally took us all morning because I had to stop and tend to the girls so often. 

Sleep

Audrey is not a good sleeper. She wakes up every two hours to eat and struggles to sleep soundly between feedings. Ellie slept for 7 hours without waking last night.  Tate was needing some extra attention today and was acting naughty.  He helped Brett spray fields this afternoon.  Tate had no pants on when diarrhea struck this evening. I got the fun job of shampooing the carpet. Tate left a fun trail all the way to the bathroom. 

Church

Everyone did great today at church!  We were super popular!  We will have baptism in two weeks. The dresses are a bit big but they are 0-3 months which is the smallest size I could get. Grow babies grow!!

Party

All five of us headed to a birthday party at the park this afternoon. It was super windy so I stayed in the shelter with the girls while Tate had fun with his friends.
