Boy

Tate is all boy!  He LOVES to be outside and get dirty.  Today he got to play in a mud puddle in the garden.  He was dripping wet and covered with mud but he had the time of his life.  He also got his 7th tooth today and said the word shoe. 
















The turtle is living in our pond.  He is always on the same rock every morning when we go outside.  It took Tate a while to notice him when I pointed but now he is aware of the turtle and points to the pond whenever we walk by!



Tired!

Yesterday wore me out!  I worked around the house and took care of Tate all morning then went to the doctor and to Walmart in the afternoon.  I got home just in time to unload my groceries and eat supper before I had to go to my parish council meeting.  The sunset was beautiful on my way home! 

Tate loves to be outside!  Today he got all muddy in the garden then took a good nap before lunch.  He had his first bottle of

I'm Back!

I'm back!  I still don't feel quite like myself.  I am behind at home.  Tate's birthday party is Saturday.  I AM STRESSED!  A huge thanks to my mom for helping with Tate all week!

The neighbor's cows lined up at the fence for us the other day.  Tate had to check it out.  This is our backyard!  Quite the view!  I LOVE IT! 

We planted the garden yesterday.  We have potatoes, tomatoes, cucumbers, corn, and bell peppers.  I hope something grows this year!  As Tate was crawling into danger and eating dirt while we were working in the garden, I thought maybe this wasn't the greatest idea I had ever had.  Oh well!  It is a hot one today!  We played outside this morning.  I got out buckets of water and such to play in.  It lasted about 22 seconds because Tate saw a cat.  The cats don't like Tate at all but Tate LOVES them!

Tate can say baby and hi...sometimes!

I am alive and resting after my surgery. I miss hanging out with my boy. I can't lift more than 10 lbs. for a week. :(

Tate got to play with a new box of bags yesterday. What fun!

Just had to post! My friends welcomed their son into the world this morning! Their dream came true! God bless them on this new adventure as a family of three!!!

Catch Up

Homemade Fingerpaint fun!  

Tate is able to stand on his own for a few seconds.  He has also been trying to stand up from the floor.  He is so close!  He is sleeping terrible again.

I am signing off for a while.  I am having surgery on Monday with a long, terrible recovery so say a prayer for me!  My mom was able to take off work all week to help out.

Balloon Fun

I blew up a few balloons for Tate and he really likes them.  I am not looking forward to when one pops.  I am expecting tears.  For now though, it is great fun!
