Mmmm

Spaghetti is GOOD!

Brett and I went to town yesterday to take care of some business and get some groceries.  As always, Tate was a good boy!  His favorite part of the day was spending time with the dogs at the John Deere dealer while Brett got some parts.

Nailed It

I had a Pinterest fail the other day.  It was supposed to be mess free finger painting.  Tate touched it for about a second. 

Outside

We made a point to enjoy the warm weather yesterday before it got cold again.  Tate loves to be outside!  Happy Birthday Aunt Amy!!!

Cutie

This just melts my heart!  I love my boys!!  (Sorry for a naked baby!  This all went down right before bath time.  Tate left us a nice puddle on the floor before we got him into the tub.)

Tate's buddy and his mom came to play on Saturday while Brett helped his buddy's daddy paint his house.  Everyone met back here for some supper.  It was nice to spend some time with adults!  Tate has been super gassy again.  I think he had a stomach ache yesterday.  He was crabby and tired. 

Trim

My Type A personality could not take it any longer!  I had to trim Tate's goofy looking hair.  He was born with one hair that was super long.  It was my most favorite hair on his head.  I pulled it out yesterday before the trim and it was 6 inches long.  My boy is growing up too fast.  He is more handsome than ever!

Tate had another gas attack on Wednesday night and all day on Thursday.  I can't figure out what is giving him so much gas but he was unable to sleep most of Wednesday night.  He was so tired on Thursday he fell alseep during breakfast and lunch.  He slept really well last night (only woke up 3 times!) so hopefully the gas stays away and we don't have an exhausted baby (and mommy).

Easter Baskets

The Easter Bunny and the grandparents really spoiled Tate!  He got some great new stuff.  My favorite part of the whole day was when I put Tate's eggs in front of him and he stuck one in his basket!  I love him!!

Yesterday was a sad day.  My mom's cousin passed away and we went to his funeral.  He was only 57 and he left behind his parents, wife, 3 kids, and 1 granddaughter.  Parents should never have to bury their babies.  So, because life is short and I never say it enough, I LOVE AND APPRECIATE ALL OF YOU!! 

Easter Preparation

I only downloaded 250 new pictures today so I am going to break up the Easter posts.  Easter is my favorite holiday so I think I went a little overboard!

On Thursday, Tate and I dyed our Easter eggs.  He was not too entertained by the activity but thought it got a bit better when I gave him an egg to play with.

On Friday, we went to mass and Tate was a HAM!  We was dancing and waving to the girl behind him.  He wanted to get down and crawl around so it was a struggle holding him through the Passion.  Were you there when they crucified my Lord?  Sometimes it makes me want to tremble.

On Saturday, my brother and his wife and Brett's sister came for a visit.  I had to go to a baby shower so they all got to babysit Tate.  It seems like everyone had a good time.

On Sunday we went to mass at 7:30 AM!  That was my very first Easter Sunday service.  I can only remember going to the vigil my whole life.  I think my boys looked super handsome!  Jesus Christ is risen today!  Alleluia!  Alleluia!
