Terrific Two
Aside from some days filled with "terrible two" behavior, I think that 2 year olds are pretty terrific. Tate had an awesome day. He did well at story hour and behaved while we got stamps at the post office. He couldn't fall asleep for his nap but wasn't crabby. He played in the basement with a barn toy and his cars. "Hi Mater, glad to see you" said a nice little car. The boys played outside and in grandpa's barn. Tate ate a good supper. Then we made play-doh turkeys. The feathers were uncooked spaghetti with pony beads on them. It was fun to watch Tate concentrate to get the beads on. He got a lot better with a little practice. Then he decided he needed a daddy, mommy, and baby snake. They went on adventures to the zoo and to the library to see the kids. Baby snake wanted some milk but he was not tall enough to reach the top of the straw cup so Daddy snake had to lift him up. All the snakes were giving out tons of hugs and kisses. Then Tate cut them all into tiny pieces. Ha. In the bath Tate asked, "Mom, can you boo me? I have the hiccups."
