Park

Grandma and grandpa visited this weekend.  They took Tate out for lunch and played at an amazing park. 

 

 

 

 

Cricket

There was a dead cricket in the bathroom this morning and Tate scooped it up with a washcloth. He took it to the door and was saying "Get out of my house cricket."  We shook him outside and then Tate found some food on the floor and demanded that bug go outside too. 

Super Mom

I wiped oatmeal off of Tate's foot and he said, "Thanks, mom.  You saved the day."  

Car

This is the car that Tate drew today. It has wheels, lights, and a birthday cake on top. Silly guy!  

Sickness

I have been battling morning (all day) sickness. I have had the joy of throwing up while Tate bashed a cucumber on my head saying, "Dad picked a big one."  Today I ended up puking in the front yard. I had to play defense and keep the dog away and keep Tate out of the mess. Then Tate decided to grab his stomach and make barfing noises. What a joy!

Grump

Tate didn't sleep well so he was a major grump all morning. He finally settled on watching a little tv since everything else in the entire world made him angry and cry. Tonight he was driving his bath foam train off a cliff (faucet). He is pretty clever.

Tate is really having a lot of toddler tantrums lately. He is having a tough time transitioning from one activity to another if he is having fun. For example, tonight he was MAD when I made him get out of the tub. Between fits though, we still manage to have a lot of fun.  He put his cheek down in the cement and got chalk all over it. He tricked me at nap time. He was so quiet while playing in his room that I thought he was sleeping. I heard a thud and checked the monitor only to find him hard at play.
