What a day!

So....Tate does not like to sleep. We had a party, starting at 4 AM!  He was not mad or anything, just AWAKE! He finally decided he was tired again from 7-9, (like can't keep his eyes open no matter what) which ruined his chance of napping for the day. Despite being so messed up on sleep he was the happiest, silliest little guy today. His new thing is to say "hee hee hee" very high pitched. It is adorable!! We played outside and drew with sidewalk chalk, played in the "big truck", and pulled around the wagon. My parents came over for dinner and Tate finally said "grandma!"  He practically fell asleep in the tub and went right to bed. 

Day

These pics sum up the day. No one got enough sleep. The warm weather was replaced with terrible wind. I managed to take paint off my car at the car wash. 

Beautiful

The weather was nice yesterday and absolutely beautiful today!  Tate definitely enjoyed getting to play outside.  Sometimes I like the outtakes just as much as the "real" picture.

Away

The guy came to work on the fireplace again today. It is getting ugly around here. I am having a tough time staying caught up, especially with laundry and Tate is tired of being away from home. He took a 3 hour nap in grandma and grandpa's bed today.

We are tired of our house being a construction site! Tate checked cattle for about an hour this afternoon and did really well. We went out to dinner by our house and Tate wanted the giant truck light hanging over the pool table. He screamed the entire time we were there despite all attempts to calm him down. 

My uncle named this calf Beka. Guess what his daughter is named...the saga continues...

Special Day

Today ranks as one of my favorite days of my life so far. Tate had a good day, I got to meet my nephew, and see my brother and his wife in their new role as parents. I love their new little family of 3 very much!!  Tate didn't quite know what to think of Owen. He seemed nervous, excited, and jealous!  He had to make sure he got some attention from everyone too.
