Hugs

Tate hugged all of his monkeys today. He is not affectionate in the least bit so we savor these moments!  He didn't sleep well last night and didn't have the best day today. 

Buddy

Tate had his buddy over to play. He is
sure a cutie!  I was happy to see his mom too!  I got to get a massage today while my mom and dad watched Tate.

Big Boy

We took apart Tate's crib today. He comes unglued when he is in it so it was time for it to go. I am sad he is growing up so quickly but I love to watch him learn and develop.  Today when he was playing with shaped blocks he told me triangle and circle.  I was pretty impressed!!  

Swimmer

Tate likes to "swim" in the tub. He always touches his ears when they are submerged so he must like the feel of water on them or the sound of things underwater. 

I got a haircut today. My hair lady had a cancellation so I am thankful my mom could babysit with little notice. Tate had a blast and was very good!

We just had the best start to 2014.  We had a play date this morning and Tate played well.  He is starting to play with kids a little bit.  He said a lot of words all day and made more eye contact than ever before.  He was a good helper and cleaned with me. He was walking around saying "ship" but it was coming out more like "SH*T".  Brett and I are waiting for that to come out in the middle of church!

Bye 2013

It is hard to believe another year is already over.  Life just passes by much too quickly.  While some days were a challenge, I was still blessed with a great 365 days full of love, family, friendship and health.

We spent the last day of the year playing and hanging out at home.  Tate, the handyman, was fixing things around the house.  He also built some great towers and castles with blocks and had some super awesome dance moves!!

Tate is fighting bedtime again so I keep forgetting to blog. We went to the library today to check out new books.  

And...Tate fed the babies in a book some of his pop tart. I love that silly guy!
