Dentist

Tate had to go to the dentist today. He fought them on most everything they did to his mouth but he didn't have any cavities.  We got groceries and they got a new Snoopy ride-on toy so I let Tate ride it.

Tate is 4 and I can't believe it. We had a birthday party for him at the zoo. A bunch of his friends came and they got a little animal show with a rabbit, chinchilla and lizard. Tate got to have lunch at Gambino's and play in the play place. Then we finished off the day with supper and cake with family at our house. It was a fun day and Tate was super tired and grouchy by bedtime. I love him so much. 

Road Trip

Our friends from Minnesota were down visiting family this week so we took a little road trip to say hi. They brought their niece and nephew to play with our kids. It was a fun day and it is always nice to catch up.  Tate was a bit of a mess. He ended up falling asleep a few miles from home but stayed asleep when we carried him inside. We put him in his bed and he has stayed asleep all evening. He has been so excited all week that he hasn't been sleeping well. 

School

Today was the last day of school. I am so proud of Tate. 

Joy

My heart feels so happy because I made Tate incredibly happy. We had a very rough night last night. The girls were both waking and I think I got about 4 hours of sleep so I decided to give Tate one of his birthday presents early. He loves watching this "mystery closet" video on YouTube which is just this guy talking about his childhood toy car collection. Tate has been wanting his own mystery closet collection for quite some time. The guy's collection is actually quite valuable but I did find some old metal trucks and cars on eBay that weren't super expensive. I wrapped each car in tissue paper and put them in a shoebox like the video. Tate giggled and was so giddy as he opened each one.  I love him so much and can't believe he will soon be four!

Rainy

It was a rainy, dreary day today. The girls both fell asleep on the way to school this morning.  Tate got to celebrate his birthday at school today. He picked Capri suns and Lindor truffles. Thankfully it stopped raining just long enough to run errands. The girls were troopers. I had several little stops to make downtown. People were so kind today and held door for me everywhere I went.  Brett and Tate had popcorn and a new movie this afternoon. 

Silly

The girls have been acting pretty silly lately. I am having so much fun with them. Tate painted his cars for hours today. Grandpa came over to play with Tate and they had a pretty good time.  Audrey is a teething mess.
