Weekend
We had a busy weekend! We went out of town to A birthday party. We did some shopping before the party and Tate found a Dusty bicycle, Paw Patrol underwear, Spider Man pajamas, light-up Lightning McQueen sandals and a bug net. He has so much fun shopping since I always go while he is in school. He had a good time at the party and ran and played very hard. The girls eventually warmed up but Ellie only wanted to climb up and down the step to the back yard. Today we had mass at our country church. Tate had to go potty and when we got back he asked if the priest was Jesus. No one was very good at church. We sat with my mom and dad but the girls were not interested in being held by them so when Brett had to help with collection I somehow managed to hold both girls and feed them puffs. My arms are so sore from carrying them around so much the last two days. Tate met the neighbor kid who lives by the church and they played together. He must be just a few years older than Tate. Audrey wouldn't nap this afternoon.

Fine
Ellie seems to be doing just fine! I slept terrible last night and think I checked on her a million times. The girls were fighting over toys all day and I am sure it Ishtar going to get worse. Tate put a lot of work into his kitty fort, which also doubles as his headquarters. I don't know where he comes up with the stuff he does but I sure enjoy it.

Scary
We went out to dinner tonight and everyone did pretty well. Tate cried when his #5 pool ball went in the hole and when we had to leave. I could tell he was tired. He got me three times last night. Two of them were because a button came undone on his pajamas. I gave the girls a snack when we got home and took Ellie out of her high chair and went to get a rag for Audrey's hands. I heard the most terrible sound of Ellie falling down the stairs. The gate didn't get shut and I forgot to double check like I usually do. She cried for just a bit and then climbed right back up the steps. She has been playing and acting like normal so the on call nurse said we didn't need to take her to the ER. I pretty much lost it and scared Tate too. I am still upset and even writing this makes me weepy. I am nervous about tonight but we just have to watch for fussiness or vomiting. Thankfully her guardian angel was watching out for her!!

Doctor
I took Ellie to see the doctor today for her terrible diaper rash. She has a runny nose and a cough too so the doctor was certain she had rsv. The swab was negative but she did have a red ear. Audrey went with us and Tate stayed with my mom. Tate was mad at supper because we had to stop playing to eat. He hit me so he went into time out. Later he told me that I broke his heart and I needed to make him feel better. He said if I gave him a big kiss then his heart would go back together.

Rash
Ellie still has terrible diaper rash. She has two open sores so I scheduled a doctor appointment in the morning. Tate has figured out that he can make mud with the hose so I am having a hard time keeping enough clean shoes around.

Short Night
Brett and I both had about 4 hours of sleep last night. Ellie was crying off and on and we discovered that she popped and has super terrible diaper rash. Tate got up at midnight because he wet the bed. Audrey was up at 4.

Adventure
We couldn't go to my friend's house this morning while Tate was at school so we had breakfast at McDonald's. The cashier carried my tray and brought me two high chairs. She was a very big help. The girls enjoyed it and aside from an old man telling me that Ellie might be kind of slow we had a good time. Then we headed to the rec center and the girls loved it. They giggled while they ran around the gym and tried their hardest to make it to the bleacher steps. Tate was being exceptionally awesome this evening. He helped cook supper, set the table and even swept up the rice he spilled without being asked.
